GEIST is led and coordinated by Dr. Grzegorz J. Nalepa with a scientific supervision of Prof. Antoni Ligęza.

We work in the Department of Applied Computer Science at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland.

The group is active in the areas of intelligent systems, knowledge and software engineering, Business Intelligence and Ambient Intelligence (see the group's research profile).

GEIST has been involved in number of projects. For more information see recent activity, publications and software.

The group teaches a number of courses and coordinates a specialty EIS (Engineering of Intelligent Systems). We also cooperate with students within dedicated projects.
